Dawn specializes in “OTTB” - Off the Track Thoroughbred re-training. Re-schooling for pleasure and competition. Dawn encourages people of the horse world to give Thoroughbreds consideration. Thoroughbreds are Elite Athletes and do well when changing careers from the race track to becoming good partners & solid citizens. Dawn's goal is to help these horses become good family members through development of mutual trust, respect & encouragement.

Re-training includes 5 days a week of working each horse at it's individual level of need. All owners are encouraged to participate in the re-schooling throughout training so that you and your horse are on the same page and become a confident team.

Re-training for Western saddle focusing on leg cues, rein cues, arena trail course obstacles, natural trails, learn a safe and consistant 'whoa', start over jumps if desired.

OTTB re-training-$400 per 30 days + $250 board

Horsemanship Lessons

Educating students and owners about the whole horse. Instruction in Western riding, handling on the ground and in the saddle, leadership skills, partnership skills, grooming, bathing, longing, first aid, worming and more.
